Fitment Guide

Re-Tuned guitar Bluetooth speaker kits will fit almost any full size acoustic guitars, and many smaller acoustics. To ensure that a kit will fit your guitar, please check the 3 following dimensions before purchasing:

  • Ensure the sound hole is at least 80mm (3 1/4") in diameter
  • Ensure the distance from the extremity of the fretboard to the bottom of the sound hole is at least 70mm (2 7/8")
  • Ensure the guitar is at least 65mm (2 5/8") deep

Installation Guide

Please see the video below for a detailed guide to installing one of our Re-Tuned guitar Bluetooth speaker kits.

  1. Remove all strings from your guitar
  2. Remove Re-Tuned kit from its box
  3. Remove speaker cover from amplifier and speaker module by undoing the 4 screws which go through the top of the cover
  4. Lower the amplifier and speaker module through the sound-hole, inserting the amplifier toward the bottom of the guitar, then gently guiding the remainder of the module in until the foam edge sits on the timber surrounding the sound hole
  5. Centre the module in the sound hole
  6. Begin to tighten the 3 screws surrounding the speaker, ensuring that the arms attached to them swing out inside the guitar.
  7. Continue to alternate tightening the 3 screws until the module is secured in the guitar
  8. Position the speaker cover over the module, ensuring that the large cut-out is over the fret-board and the small cut-out is over the power jack
  9. Attach the speaker cover with the 4 provided screws
  10. Plug in the power cable, connect your phone or other audio source via bluetooth and enjoy!
